The Model Calculation Policy:
Is used across all subjects when Mathematical content is delivered, and we encourage all staff to adopt its processes and methods of teaching where possible. This allows students to consistently apply their learning and be the most efficient they can be regarding problem solving and their general application of Maths skills.

The Key Mathematical Themes:
Are a good reference point for when delivering topics and units of work in Maths identifying which key themes underpin certain topics. For example, Multiplicative reasoning as a theme will intwine with a vast majority of content at KS4 accreditation level; pie charts, percentages, fractions etc.
