At Brandles the students have an opportunity to work with our local fire service through their LiFE course.

What is LiFE?

A 5 day course delivered by firefighters. Based on the role of a firefighter, you'll get the chance to take part in practical activities like hose running, ladder climbing and incident scenarios.

What you'll get out of it

The students learn to work as a team and become an effective unit.  They work along serving officers developing an understanding of their trade.

At the end of the course there is a passing out parade where the students can demonstrate their newly learned skills to their teachers, parents and carers.
